We recognise that the only way to keep old customers while also attracting new business is by maintaining a high level of quality when it comes to products and operations, since customer satisfaction is our first priority.

 In 1992 we introduced a quality management system that meets the ISO 9000 international standards. We are well aware that successful operation is essential for lowering costs and maintaining our competitive position on the domestic and foreign markets.
 In June 1995 the company underwent a certification assessment by BVQI, an established provider of certification services, and obtained a certificate for quality system compliance with the ISO 9001 standard. Following a regular control assessment in June 2003, we obtained a certificate confirming that our system has been upgraded to meet the demands of the new and expanded ISO 9001:2000 standard. The main requirements of the standard are focus on the customers, a process approach and constant improvements. After the regular assessment in 2010 we obtained a certificate of compliance with ISO 9001:2008. in 2019, the complience with ISO 9001:2015 followed. 
 
 
 
 
 With our commitment to implementing the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Ilirija d.d. is upgrading our care for the production of quality and safe products.
Therefore, in February 2013, we were the first, more widely known Slovenian cosmetics company, to obtain a certificate of compliance with the management system standard ISO 22716:2007, Cosmetics - Good Manufacturing Practice, Guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practice. By constantly monitoring compliance with the requirements of the standard, all employees strive to maintain and continuously improve the operation of the Good Manufacturing Practice system.

The Ilirija quality management system is enhanced by planned human resources development and regular training on all levels. We employ a number of highly qualified experts distinguished by professional knowledge, as well as in-depth knowledge of the company production capacities and demand on the market. This enables them to develop technologically effective and environmentally friendly products that meet the consumer's needs when it comes to cosmetics or cleaning products, candles and other products sought after by our customers.
In order to continue improving the quality of products and services, processes and the system as a whole, a greater degree of cooperation and team work is required. With this in mind, every employee is devoted to maintaining and improving the system of quality. We are proud of the control process we use in all stages of production, from the semi-manufactured product to the finished product. The process enables us to monitor each individual stage of production.
